Many of our concerts are in aid of local and national charities as part of their fundraising activities. Why not contact us to see if your favourite charity could benefit from one of our concerts? The essence of this partnership is that your supporters organise the event and sell the tickets to raise money for your special cause.
Our charity for 2018/2019 is Mindsong
Mindsong is a charity that provides music therapy to people living with dementia. They work in care homes, day care centres and even in the person's own home. In the sessions the therapists and volunteer singing groups do not play music or sing to the residents but enable them to participate as much as they are able in producing improvised music of their own using the voice or musical instruments. It has been said that some of the songs can trigger many happy memories of years go by that have been locked away.
